Do I buy my raffle ticket now or at the raffle drawing party?
Buy your raffle ticket now. We will only be selling tickets the night of the event if we don’t sellout beforehand.

How do I buy a raffle ticket?
Mail $100 (check made payable to Team Joe Charities) for each raffle ticket you want to buy to:

What are my chances of winning?
250 raffle tickets will be sold. There will be one $5,000 prize, one $500 prize, and nine $100 prizes, making the
chances 1 in 23 per ticket.

Do I need to be at the raffle drawing party to win?
No, you don’t need to be present to win. If you hold a winning ticket we will contact you after the event.

Will I have to pay to get into the raffle drawing party?
If you have a raffle ticket you and a guest will be able to enter the party free of charge.

If I don’t have a raffle ticket can I still come to the raffle drawing party?
Yes, but we will ask for a $25 donation to Team Joe Charities for each person not holding a raffle ticket.

Will there be food and drinks at the raffle drawing party?
Yes, there will be free beer, wine, sodas and food at the party. Buffet dinner will be served from 6-7pm.
Light snacks will be available the rest of the night. Free drinks served throughout the event.

What will be going on at the raffle drawing party?
We’ll have lots of fun throughout the night. In addition to the raffle drawing, we’ll also have other games going on.
Pull-tabs, 50/50 raffle and other chances to win all night long.

What’s the itinerary for the raffle drawing party?
Buffet dinner will be served from 6-7pm. The raffle drawing will start around 6:45pm. Things should wrap up
around 10pm.

Why are you hosting this raffle?
Team Joe Charities was formed in 2007 to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova
Fairfax Hospital for Children. The namesake of our charity, Joe Petrella, was born 12 weeks early and weighed
only 1.5 pounds. He spent 104 days in the NICU where the wonderful, caring staff helped save Joe’s life. He’s
now a healthy, happy, normal 4 year old! To date, Team Joe Charities has raised $125,000 for the NICU. This
money will help fund the completion of a family lounge that will be part of the new NICU that will be built by
Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. Please help us raise even more money for this outstanding facility and the
amazing staff that helps care for many of the high risk births throughout Northern Virginia.
